School holiday activity: The love of storytelling
Celebrate your love of stories these school holidays. In this session, participants explored Library spaces designed for sharing stories, including the Wangka Wakanutja exhibition and the Kids’ Corner in the Main Reading Room.
Following this, we gathered to explore different storytelling modes. Participants were encouraged to share, and create by listening to stories, crafting their own, or connecting with others through shared narratives.
All materials were supplied.
This activity was suitable for children 3 to 8 years of age.
Each ticket is for one child workshop participant. Adult supervision is required, but carers do not need to book a ticket for themselves.
Light refreshments including fresh fruit, healthy snacks, and water were be provided.
