Storytime with the Story Dogs

Join us on the last Sunday of each month for a paw-sitive reading experience with the Story Dogs program.

Book now

Trained volunteers and their accredited dogs create a nurturing environment where children can enjoy a range of stories in a relaxed environment. This unique program aims to make reading fun, helping children enjoy books and to become confident, lifelong readers.

Young people aged 7 to 12 are invited to enjoy stories and pats as they sit with a friendly reader and attentive dogs, just outside our Bookshop in the Foyer.

Very small children (under 7) can listen to the stories and pat the dogs with parental supervision.

Several dogs will be onsite for each session, however places are limited, and bookings are preferred.

Where and when

Storytime with the Story Dogs takes place in the Foyer from 2-3pm on the last Sunday of every month for the remainder of the year. You're welcome to book ahead.

This program is presented in partnership with Story Dogs.
