As part of the Enlighten Festival, the Library welcomed 'The Guardians' to our podium area, from opening night on 28 February.

Our Enlighten community picnic was back in 2024. Once again, we extended our opening hours on the Friday and Saturday evenings between 1 and 11 March with free activities for all ages running on our Podium and in our Foyer.

Comedian and self-proclaimed architecture nerd Tim Ross picked up the microphone to bring to life his acclaimed ABC TV series with a brand new stage show, somewhat predictably titled, Designing a Legacy Live 2023. 

A conversation of First Nations photographers with Uncle Mervyn Bishop, Prof. Wayne Quilliam, Aunty Barbara McGrady, Tiffany Garvie, Michael Jalaru Torres, and Tamati Smith.
