Coffee with the Curator and Conservator: Treasures Insights

Join the Friends of the Library, Library exhibition curator Dr Grace Blakeley-Carroll, and Library conservator Caroline Milne, for a discussion about the 2025 Treasures Gallery refresh.

Grace and Caroline will discuss the challenges in selecting materials for the Treasures exhibition, both from a curatorial and conservation perspective.

They will discuss object selection considerations and the role that conservation plays in considering display requirements, with a particular focus on the Freda Thompson aviation material.

After the discussion, Grace and Caroline will join attendees for morning tea.

A woman stands in the centre of this image, looking to the left and smiling. She is in front of an aeroplane and wearing a jacket.
