About Judy Horacek

Judy Horacek is a cartoonist, writer, artist and illustrator. Her characteristic pointy nosed figures have been trying to make the world a better place for decades now. She has been published in newspapers and magazines all over the world, and has produced 10 collections of cartoons.

She also creates children’s books, both on her own and with Mem Fox - their first book together was the iconic Where is the Green Sheep? (which features in the National Library Treasures Gallery). 

Earlier this year she decided to try standup comedy, debuting at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April. It was a great success and a lot of fun, so now, as they say in the classics, she’s taking the show on the road!
