Stock up on Christmas gifts at the Bookshop sale tables in the Foyer where you will find sale items that have been discounted by 15% to 30%. Santa’s helpers will also be there to wrap any gifts you buy.

Bookplate Cafe was open until 8:00 pm on the night for coffee, drinks, cakes and light meals.

Entertainment on offer included:

• 7:00-7:30 pm: Christmas carols being sung by Danielle Williams
• 7:30pm: Local makers Burley & Brave will give a talk about their products
• Local children’s authors doing book readings and signing copies in the Bookshop
• Live music from a piano player
• Children’s games and colouring-in in the Foyer
