Learn with the curators of Fit to Print

We learnt from our exhibition curators, including Fit to Print guest curator, photographer and media commentator Mike Bowers.

We discussed the contribution of Australian photojournalism to expanding our understanding of how Australians saw themselves during this moment of history. We also discovered stories behind the Fairfax photo archive of glass plate photography and the methods used in creating these pieces of social history.

This virtual learning session allowed participants to delve into the Fit to Print exhibition and meet the curators, all from the comfort of their loungeroom or favourite lunchbreak spot!

This session was a zoom webinar and cameras will be hidden. Participants were able to contribute ideas and questions to the conversation by typing into the Q&A and chat function.

The learning session was recorded and made available after the event.
