About Live in interesting places

From a Brutalist theatre to a reimagined heritage-listed church and one of Australia’s most loved public buildings, Live in Interesting Places brings together two great talkers and thinkers for an evening of stories, laughter, and design-fuelled inspiration.

This will be the first time they’ll shared a stage since their two sold-out shows at the Sydney Opera House in 2019, a collaboration rekindled with the release of their hit podcast Tim & Kev’s Big Design Adventure.

About Tim Ross

Tim Ross has had a career spanning decades in the entertainment industry. Starting with his parody band, Black Rose, Tim with his comedic partner Merrick Watts hosted radio shows on Triple J before taking the coveted breakfast slot on newly formed Nova 96.9.

During the eight successful years at Nova, Merrick and Rosso created numerous TV shows including a late night talk show, won an Aria for Best Comedy Release and Tim was even awarded GQ Man of the Year. And whilst he may be best known for his work on TV and radio (at different times hosting both the number one breakfast and drive shows in Sydney), he has also always had a passion for architecture and design.

About Kevin McCloud

When not filming or mucking about with Tim, he spends his time working on his farm where he looks after rare-breed, organic free-range, heritage cider apple trees.
