The short documentary feature Tales of the Diaspora tells the story of Johnny, a Cook Islander/Samoan born and raised in the United Kingdom.

Despite the distance from the Pacific Islands, she and her community actively create opportunities to learn and share cultural traditions. The film aims to spark a conversation on how we can help bridge the gap between the diaspora and cultural knowledge holders.
