The Chinese collection of the National Library is a rich source of information on the history, culture and current affairs of China.

The National Library of Australia lends works from its collections to other libraries and to museums, galleries and other collecting institutions for the purpose of exhibition. The Library is also a borrower of works from individuals and institutions for the purpose of exhibition.

This resource is aligned to the Australian Curriculum: HASS for Year 6 students.

Albums and pieces of sheet music published in Australia and overseas, around 2700 books and pamphlets, mostly related to Western music, manuscript scores, papers from some composers and orchestras, and personal papers of Kenneth Hince.

We create books that tell stories by and about Australians. Our titles draw on the Library's extensive collections to share Australia's culture and history.

Clare Hallifax presented a teacher professional development workshop along with educators and curators from the Library.
