The National Library of Australia (Library) currently stores part of the Asian Collection monograph, serials and pamphlet run (Collection Material) at the National Archives of Australia (NAA), Sandford Street, Mitchell ACT. The majority of this Collection Material is bound hardcopy monographs (books) and Journals/Serials in plastic slip cases and runs across approximately 8.2 linear kilometres of shelving.

The Burmese collections at the National Library of Australia consist of thousands of books, journals and microfilm holdings in Burmese language and Burma/Myanmar-related materials.
