School programs
About our programs
We collect, protect and provide access to millions of physical items and billions of digital records about Australia and Australians.
Our programs introduce students to the role of the Library and offer a behind the scenes peek into the inner workings of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest library.
We offer engaging experiences linked to Australian Curriculum content and capabilities for Years 5 to 12. Oyr exhibitions, collections and reading rooms act as a springboard to find out more about Australia’s history and culture. Our programs are interactive and use inquiry-based learning methods.
Bookings are made online via Book Canberra Excursions.
